About

Hello! This blog of visual curosities is curated and written by Natalie Walstein, an artist, designer, and soon-to-be handmade shop owner with a passion for discovering beautiful artwork and sharing it with others. You can see more of my projects at halfasleepstudio.com.

The Flood originally began as a handmade black & white zine 4 years ago in the basement of the Minnesota Center of Book Arts in Minneapolis, MN. Since then we’ve grown into a catalog of inspiration as well as a vessel for artists from all over the world to express themselves, share their work, and to inspire others to do the same.

So far we have published a total of 6 print issues, most of which are currently sold out but still available to purchase as a digital download for $2.50 USD in The Flood Shop. Feel free to submit your work to be considered for future issues.
