HOW TO ADVERTISE WITH THE FLOOD
Because we are both a blog and a zine, we have tons of room to help you advertise your creative company/endeavor/portfolio/shop/project/whatever! Join up with us to spread the word about yourself, expand the creative community, and help us continue to keep the site running and the issues printing. We can even create an ad for you if you need.

IMPORTANT THINGS TO KNOW ABOUT US

• Your ad must be for something creative or artistic in nature. This covers a pretty broad field, so if you’re not sure, please ask!
• Our website and zine are seen all over the world. This means that super localized ads probably won’t go over too well.
• THEFLOODZINE.COM is seen by nearly 10,000 viewers per month and our zine issues are currently being released in runs of 200 copies. Many of these issues are sent to suppliers such as independent book stores, coffee shops, and zine distros/libraries or sold online to anyone in the world as a print copy or download.

We have amazingly low weekly and monthly rates available. There is advertising space available in these locations around the site:

• Sidebar / 200 x 200: $10.00/month
• Sidebar / 200 x 450: $15.00/month
• Bottom of Blog Post / 550 x 100: $5.00/placement

ADVERTISING IN THE ZINE
We are currently looking for advertisers for The Flood #7. Here are the available spaces:

FULL-COLOR PRINT AD RATES:

• Full Page / 5.5 x 8: $15.00/issue (only 1 spot left)
• Half Page / 5.5 x 4: $10.00/issue (only 2 spots left)
• Creative Directory / 2.75 x 2.5: $5.00/issue (6 spots left)

THINGS TO KNOW ABOUT SUBMITTING AN AD

• First of all, do you have an ad? If you don’t, we can create one for you for a very small additional fee. You will receive 3 different options to pick from and you get to choose your favorite or decide to use all 3 intermittently if you’re advertising on our site. Let us know the location, size, and the information you’d like the ad to include or portray as well as anything else you need and we can negotiate pricing together.
• If you already have an ad, it’s important to make sure it’s the right size. If you’re advertising on our site, your ad CAN be smaller than the allotted area, but not larger.
• If you’re submitting a print ad, please keep in mind that we implement a full bleed on our advertising pages (except for Creative Directory ads). While your ad MUST fit the allotted area, you should make sure that there is no important information along the edges that you do not want to get cut off when we trim it down. Typical trimming area is usually less than 1 centimeter around the entire perimeter.

HOW TO SUBMIT AN AD

1. Send us an e-mail telling us about what you’re looking to advertise and which space and size you’re interested in filling. If you have an ad already, please attach it.
2. We’ll let you know if your ad is accepted and if and when the spaces you want are available. If accepted, we will ask you to then send us payment via PayPal at our e-mail address thefloodzine@gmail.com.
3. If you’re submitting a web ad, your ad will appear as soon as your payment has gone through unless we discuss another display schedule.
